This is Goldie!
This poor gorgeous bay gelding was saved/purchased through the generousity of the Friends of Twilight for Angel Acres.
He was standing in a trailer at
New Holland Sales Stables bleeding from the backs of his ankles.
This type of injury is known as a "run-down". This occurs when the horse
is run on the track and his ankles hit the track.
He is still recovering from the injuries, the photo above is 6 weeks after his rescue.
